NSOU: Our college runs a study centre (F 09) from 2004 under Netaji Subhas Open University which is one of the premier State Open Universities in India. This study centre caters the needs of more than 300 students. Our Study Centre provides the Bachelor degree Programme (BDP courses) in 5 subjects ( Bengali, English, History, Political Science and Sociology) in Arts; 3 subjects (Geography, Mathematics and Physics) in science and Commerce. Classes are held in Saturday (Time: 1.30 p.m. to 5.00 p.m.) and Sunday (Time 10.00 a.m. to 5.00 p.m.)
For PG Programme, through this F 09 study centre admission of students under NSOU are done in 14 subjects, those are Bengali, English, English literature teaching, Political Science, History, Public Administration, Education, Mathematics, Geography, Zoology, Master of Social Work (MSW) , BLIS and MLIS. Classes for these PG Programmes are held in other study centres, not in our college.
WBREDA: West Bengal Renewable Energy Development Agency has collaborated with our college and has sanctioned a solar power plant with capacity of the 20 kwp, estimated project cost is 20 lakh in March 2014. In this project Central Funding Assistance will be 6 lakh, Beneficiary contribution from college will be 5 lakh, and proposed state contribution will be 9 lakh. This project will be under Jawaharlal Nehru National Solar Power Mission.
Students’ Health Home: It isthe self help health movement of West Bengal students since 1952. It caters to the physical, mental, social health of nearly 2 million students of West Bengal with a 65 bedded hospital at Kolkata, Moulali & 49 Regional Center OPD clinics in urban & rural West Bengal. Students of our college are members of the Students’ Health Home and can avail of both indoor and outdoor medical facilities at nominal cost. Dr. Trisit Ray, Secretary of SHH, one of the renowned neuro-physician in India came to the college and inspired the students to avail the facilities in December, 2013.
Sankrail Block Hospital: Health & Wellness Club of College is focussed on creating awareness regarding various aspects that contribute to mental & physical health and well-being of an individual, such as, ‘Knowing your body’, ‘Being responsible and safe behaviour’ etc.

In 2014, on behalf of the Annwesha Clinic Srimati Rituparna Maity, Counsellor has started counselling the girl students for awareness and wellness of both their physical and mental health.
Toxic Links: India, currently, is estimated to generate more than 4 lakh tonnes of e-waste annually. Our college as a bulk consumer of computers and other electronic apparatus is no exception from this trend. The generation is estimated to go up many times in coming years, making it a critical issue. However, e-waste is not just a problem of waste quantity or volumes. The concern is compounded because of the presence of toxic materials like lead, mercury, cadmium, certain brominated flame retardants (BFRs) and many other chemicals. To sensitize the students and staff against this critical issues college has taken help form a Delhi based NGO Toxic Links. With the help of this organization college is trying to make connection with Government approved E-waste Recycler to dispose the e-waste of the college as per the E-Waste Management Rules-2011, Govt. of India.
